DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide a professional approach to work concerning areas such as attitude, dependability, and appearance. To process customer purchases through cash register, including proper handling of pricing, coupons, rain checks, and cheque authorization. To provide a level of service to all customers that meets the Co-operative’s standards in courtesy and efficiency. Assistance in the planning and organization of merchandise displays for regular stock as well as for special sales and promotional events. To maintain a constant alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work with co-workers and public. Must have the desire to learn and perform duties with minimum supervision after training period has been completed. Energetic, upbeat nature Must be bondable.
