Drawing inspiration from its rich heritage as an inventor company, Baker Hughes harnesses the passion and expertise of its people to improve productivity throughout the entire oil and gas value chain.</p><p>Partner with the best</p><p><b>As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for:</b></p><ul><li>Completing assignments in a safe and professional manner</li><li>Being responsible for (and accountable to) your customers within your geographic area</li><li>Working closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans to maintain and grow sales within your assigned territory</li><li>Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new customers, including plant or facility executives</li><li>Generating and executing sales plans in your assigned customer base and new customer accounts to meet profit increase goals</li><li>Providing technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer complaints, escalating as required</li><li>Engaging in problem-solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations perform at optimal levels</li><li>Actively selling and supporting Baker Hughes innovations and technology, including the upstream chemical program at assigned customer locations, to promote long-term business</li><li>Possibly traveling within the assigned sales territory</li><li>Having thorough knowledge of all treatment programs in the field</li></ul><p>Fuel your passion</p><p>To be successful in this role, you will have:</p><p><b>Qualifications / Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Post-secondary education</li><li>At least 5 years of field-based oil and gas experience</li><li>Professionalism and technical merit</li><li>Presentation skills</li><li>Good understanding of profit and loss financials</li><li>Strong time management skills</li><li>Ability to work a flexible rotation schedule (days on / 7 days off)</li></ul><p><b>Desired Characteristics:</b></p><ul><li>Basic chemical knowledge is an asset</li><li>Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li>Good understanding of oil and gas process systems</li></ul><p><b>Working with us</b></p><p>Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
