Overview
Commercial lawyer: more than three years of experience in contracts drafting and negotiation. M&A lawyer: between three and ten years of experience in support of mergers and acquisition transactions. Lawyers hired in these positions will be involved in meaningful, complex and sizeable commercial transactions across a broad range of industry interests. Applicants should have experience leading the drafting and negotiation of commercial and corporate agreements (domestic and cross-border), including license agreements, partnership agreements, joint ventures and shareholder agreements. A lawyer in this position is proactive, has strong legal and business acumen, and is able to effectively resolve commercial issues for clients. Experience negotiating shareholder and partnership agreements strongly favored. As a member of our Corporate, Commercial and M&A Group, the hired applicant will be joining one of the most active business practices in the country.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with :
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a lawyer in M&A / Corporate Law in a high-caliber law firm practice
- Exceptional communication skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced team
- The ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- A commitment to exceeding client expectations
- Membership to the Québec Bar
- Extremely competitive salary
