With over 25 years in business, weve proven to be a leader in the development and production of innovative and robust agricultural farm equipment.<br /></p><p>We have two production facilities in Ontario located in Glencoe and Thamesville. Our products are manufactured in our Glencoe facility and then transported to Thamesville for final assembly and shipping.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>The Opportunity</p><p>We are looking for a Blasting & Paint Prep Technician to join our production team in Thamesville, ON. The Blasting & Paint Prep Technician will perform a variety of general preparation, blasting, finishing and re-finishing of large pieces of agricultural farm equipment and their associated components. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Operating, maintaining, and using air-driven paint spray equipment in a controlled paint booth environment</li><li>Cleaning and prepping surfaces for paint application (i.e. plugging, masking, sanding, scraping, etc.)</li><li>Ensuring proper coverage and finish quality</li><li>Maintaining the paint booth and associated equipment to ensure proper working conditions</li><li>Ensuring all paint-related waste is properly labelled, stored and disposed of</li><li>Collaborating with team members to meet production goals and deadlines<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>The Ideal Candidate</p><ul><li>Has the mechanical knowledge to understand the operation of painting equipment and tools</li><li>Previous industrial painting/coating experience is an asset</li><li>Previous metal finishing experience is required</li><li>Has excellent attention to detail and an ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands</li><li>Understands the safety standards in the performance of preparation duties; is familiar with regulations and procedures for handling and storage of flammable materials</li><li>Is proficient with paint system and booth maintenance procedures</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>The Benefits</p><ul><li>Meaningful work with a team of motivated individuals at a growing manufacturing company</li><li>Opportunities for growth & development</li></ul><ul><li>Regular, full-time employment status with competitive wages, paid biweekly</li><li>Straight day shifts</li><li>Extended Health, Dental, Disability and Life Insurance</li></ul><ul><li>Bonus opportunity</li><li>Annual safety wear allowance</li><li>Retirement savings plan with monthly employer contributions</li></ul></p></p>
