Our team of specialists ensure unparalleled support and development opportunities, setting you up for success in your career.<br><br>Join our family where belonging, growth, and making a difference define who we are.<br><br><b>Location:</b> Bellmoore Centre, 35 Pumpkin Pass, Binbrook, ON L0R 1C0<br /><b>Schedule:</b> Monday to Friday between 7:00am to 6:00pm shifts<i> </i><br /><b>Pay Rate (includes wage grants):</b></p><ul><li>RECE: <b>$27.36 per hour</b></li><li>Non-RECE: <b>$22.70 </b>per hour</li></ul><i>Why Work with Us?</i><ul><li>Flexible hours depending on your availability as a Supply Educator </li><li>Multiple locations available across the Hamilton area</li><li>A positive, collaborative, and dynamic work environment with highly skilled and passionate professionals.</li></ul><br /><i>Who We’re Looking For</i><br><br><b>Experience:</b><ul><li>Minimum 1-year experience working directly with children, OR related experience in a childcare setting, working with school-age children is preferred  but not required </li></ul><b>Education:</b><ul><li>Diploma in a field related to childcare such as Early Childhood Education is an advantage</li><li>A Diploma in Child & Youth Worker, Child and Youth Care, OCT, Education Assistant, Social Worker, or Recreation & Leisure may also be considered.</li></ul><b>Certifications:</b><ul><li>Member in good standing with the <b>College of Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) </b>is preferred but not required</li><li><b>Standard First Aid with CPR Level C</b></li><li><b>Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check</b></li><li><b>Up-to-date immunization</b> for TB, Tetanus, and MMR</li></ul><b>Skills:</b><ul><li>Knowledge of the Ministry of Education’s <i>How Does Learning Happen</i> framework is an asset.</li></ul><b>Characteristics:</b><ul><li>Willingness to work in an on-call capacity with flexible scheduling</li><li>Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, within the 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM time frame.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, flexible environment with minimal supervision</li><li>Flexibility and adaptability to be assigned in multiple locations, with minimal supervision.</li><li>A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion</li></ul><br /><i>Key Responsibilities:</i><ul><li>Reporting to assigned childcare centres to support full- and part-time staff</li><li>Establishing goals, planning, implementing, and evaluating developmentally appropriate activities to support children’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth in line with the <i>How Does Learning Happen</i> framework</li><li>Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children while fostering professional relationships with Hamilton Wentworth District School Board faculty</li></ul><p><b>Commitment to Accessibility</b><br />We are committed to providing accommodations in compliance with the <b>Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)</b>.
