<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>The Candidate</strong></p><p>Our organization is looking for an experienced Civil Inspector (3 years minimum) to work on municipal and commercial engineering projects in Newfoundland and Labrador.</p><p>Applicants must have completed a recognized Civil Engineering Technology program from an accredited post secondary institution, or equivalent education and experience.</p><p>Experience in survey work is also required. The ideal candidate must display a positive work attitude and work in a team environment.</p><p>Experience working in municipal engineering is required.</p><p>Candidates must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.</p><p>Hourly wage commensurate with candidates experience and qualifications.</p><p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Reporting to the engineer.</p><p>• Previous experience in civil construction works and supervision or inspection of roadworks.</p><p>• Record inspections, tests, work executed.</p><p>• Monitor the review of the contractor’s documents/shop drawings to flag and rectify any issues which may affect the stability or function of any components or systems.</p><p>• Preparing daily logs and reports.</p><p>• Monitoring and ensuring that all civil/structural engineering aspects of the project are done as per inspection <span >plan/drawings/codes</span> and specifications.</p><p>• Monitor safety aspects when dealing with Civil/structural installations.</p><p>• Perform and or evaluate tests confirming quality requirements, civil/structural finishes and building components by conducting thorough site inspection for all civil/structural works as per approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statement.</p><p>• Field checks placement, location, and quality of civil/structural finishes, building structure components.</p><p>• Perform civil/structural inspections and material inspections (QA / QC).</p><p>• Ensure compliance of civil/structural l works to design requirements, specifications, and project plan.</p></p>Company Description<p>Aguathuna Drafting and Consulting Company Ltd.
