Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Radiology Support Services, the incumbent provides effective and efficient support to all modalities within the Diagnostic Imaging department, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and quality services to clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to all modalities within the Diagnostic Imaging department to ensure timely, accurate and quality services to clients.

Experience

• Previous related experience required.
• Previous experience using the Radiology Information System (RIS), Electronic Patient Record (EPR), e-chart and ISCV preferred.

Education

• Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.

Qualifications And Skills

• Preference will be given to applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge of Indigenous customs, traditions and values.
• Typing 50 wpm and medical terminology (pass mark 75%) required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Access) required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written, and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

• Some lifting required. High-volume area with frequent interruptions.
