This is a full-time role based at Amica Jubilee House.</p><p>Become part of a team where you can make a real impact in the lives of others daily.</p><h3>A day in the life of a Community Relations Director</h3><p>The Community Relations Director is responsible for all sales, marketing and promotional activities related to awareness and lease of suites within the Community. You will drive and be motivated to exceed monthly occupancy and revenue targets. You will connect with people, promote the value of our amenities, and showcase Amica to potential residents so they feel confident in moving in. Responsibilities include tours, administration, production of sales reports and effective prospect management, with timely communication to the management team. You will maintain a fully updated database, stay engaged with leads, and monitor the community waitlist.</p><p>You will collaborate with the General Manager and corporate marketing team to develop and implement marketing and sales plans. You will plan, budget and coordinate on-site and off-site marketing events to attract prospects and build relationships that lead to new leases. You will complete post-activity summaries and reports to display return on investment.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Must Have</strong> (adapted to <b>as text</b> for readability):</p><ul><li>Graduate of a post-secondary sales and marketing program or related programs</li><li>Experience in developing and implementing sales and/or marketing plans, public and community relations campaigns and special events</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with proven relationship selling skills</li><li>Superior oral, written and listening communication skills</li><li>Experience in developing and managing budgets</li><li>Independent, capable leader who excels in a team environment</li><li>A valid driver’s license</li></ul><p><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong>:</p><ul><li>Knowledge of and experience in the seniors’ market, public health sector and private health sector</li><li>Experience in event planning</li><li>Strong computer skills including experience with a customer management database</li><li>Strong planning, organizational and management skills</li><li>Self-directed, motivated and resourceful, always performing in a highly professional manner</li><li>Demonstrated ability to organize workload and set priorities accordingly</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends are required)</li></ul><p><em>Requests for accommodation can be made at any stage of the recruitment process, provided the applicant has met the bona fide requirements for the open position.
