Tu seras responsable doffrir du soutien ton quipe dans les activits quotidiennes du cycle comptable. We believe there is a more efficient way to access business insurance by eliminating inefficiencies, valuing expertise, and enabling brokers to grow their business.</p><p></p><p>If you are passionate about accounting and want to actively contribute to the transformation of a high-growth company, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our general accounting team.</p><p></p><p>In this role, you will report to the Corporate Controller. You will be responsible for supporting your team in the daily activities of the accounting cycle. You will also work closely with internal departments on continuous improvement initiatives.</p><p></p><p>Main Responsibilities</p><p><br><br></p><ul><li>Supervise and participate in the month-end closing process for multiple entities:</li><li>Preparation of month-end accruals</li><li>Reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts</li><li>Balancing intercompany accounts</li><li>Preparing financing-related payments, etc.</li><li>Work closely with other members of the accounting team.</li><li>Respond to internal and external information requests.</li><li>Prepare analyses and provide documentation to external auditors.</li><li>Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.</li><li>Support and participate in various financial projects.</li><li>Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.</li><li>Perform other tasks assigned by the Financial Controller.</li></ul><p></p><p>Profile</p><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate accountant</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft GP</li><li>Degree in accounting</li><li>Advanced Excel skills</li><li>Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail</li><li>Autonomy, initiative, and ability to work proactively</li><li>Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written, to support our companies and clients across Canada and the United States</li><li>Flexible and comfortable in a fast-growing, evolving environment</li><li>Organized and rigorous<br /></li></ul><p></p><p>Benefits</p><ul><li>Hybrid work-from-home option for work-life balance.</li><li>Group insurance, Health Spending Account, Employee & Family Assistance Program, and Telemedicine.</li><li>Access to the retirement savings plan with employer contribution.</li><li>7 personal days.</li><li>Birthday holiday.</li><li>Bonus program.</li><li>Training reimbursement program.</li></ul></p></p>
