<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>We are seeking suitably qualified Consultant Psychiatrists to the Mental Health Division across Royal Perth Hospital, Armadale Mental Health Service, City East Community Mental Health Service and Bentley Mental Health Service. Across these positions the Consultant Psychiatrist will promote patient safety and quality of care whilst providing leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers. This position, in collaboration with the Medical Co-Director, Head of Service, Service Director, Head of Department, Clinical Leads and other Consultants, works to achieve national, state and EMHS performance standards and targets. The Consultant Psychiatrist works within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the EMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.</p><h3>Application Requirements</h3><ul><li>a covering letter that demonstrates you have the skills and experience we are looking for, including any particular areas of interest across adult inpatient, youth inpatient / homelessness services and community services.</li><li>a comprehensive CV that clearly shows your experience relevant to this role.</li><li>the names and contact details of two professional referees.
