Our esteemed client, a leading national business law firm, is growing its Paralegal team and is currently seeking a full-time Corporate Paralegal to join its Calgary office. This is an excellent opportunity for an intermediate-level Paralegal who is looking for a dynamic, engaging role within a collaborative and highly regarded firm.</p><p><br></p><p><b>What You'll Do</b></p><p><br></p><p>Working closely with lawyers, Paralegals, and legal administrative professionals, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services to a diverse client base. Your responsibilities will include:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Preparing Alberta and federal incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances, and dissolutions</li><li>Managing ongoing corporate maintenance, including public companies, and preparing documentation for annual meetings, resolutions, and related filings</li><li>Assisting with business name registrations, partnership and limited partnership registrations, and extra-provincial registrations</li><li>Conducting due diligence and minute book reviews, preparing reports on issues and deficiencies, and drafting required updating documents</li><li>Supporting corporate transactions, including drafting, organizing, and finalizing transaction documents, assisting with closings, and preparing closing books</li><li>Ensuring compliance with applicable statutory requirements and providing input on corporate compliance matters</li><li>Updating and maintaining information within the firm's corporate database</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What You Bring</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>A minimum of three to five years of intermediate-level corporate experience and CORES Level III certification</li><li>Strong knowledge of legal and technical procedures, statutes, regulations, and applicable governmental practices</li><li>Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with a high level of attention to detail</li><li>The ability to manage competing deadlines, work effectively within a team environment, and provide exceptional client service</li><li>Comfort with evolving technology and strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li>Prior experience with iManage, Intapp, and 3E, or similar document management and timekeeping systems</li><li>Experience with corporate data management cloud-based software (MinuteBox preferred) is considered an asset</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What Our Client Offers</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Meaningful growth opportunities within a nationally recognized firm</li><li>Strong mentorship and collaborative support</li><li>Ongoing training as technology and systems evolve</li><li>Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package</li><li>A positive, engaging, and professional work environment</li><li>A firm-wide commitment to continuous learning and professional development</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualified candidates are asked to email their resume in confidence to </b></p><p><b>At Urban Legal Recruitment, we guarantee discretion and confidentiality.
