We are expanding and looking for a reliable, proactive team member who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.</p><p>Position Overview<br><br>We are hiring a <em>Front Desk Administrator with Dental Assistant experience</em>. This role blends administrative expertise with clinical understanding — perfect for someone who enjoys staying organized, taking initiative, and keeping a busy schedule running smoothly.</p><p>You'll be supporting a mobile dental hygienist, coordinating patient care, communicating with facilities and families, managing schedules, and helping behind the scenes to ensure smooth operations day-to-day.</p><p>What You'll Do</p><ul><li>Manage scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communication with patients P.O.A and facilities</li><li>Coordinate with retirement home staff, families, and Power of Attorneys</li><li>Prepare and organize intake forms, consent forms, and insurance documentation</li><li>Assist with workflow planning, daily task lists, and operational organization</li><li>Enter notes, billing details, and patient information accurately</li><li>Provide light clinical support where needed (charting, photos, prep, etc.)</li><li>Keep track of inventory, supplies, and restocking</li><li>Maintain a clear, structured system for communication and task completion</li><li>Support marketing outreach such as calls, emails, and content organization</li></ul><p>What We're Looking For</p><ul><li>Dental Assistant background (HARP certification is an asset but not required)</li><li>Someone who enjoys structure, organization, and staying ahead of tasks</li><li>Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and professional email etiquette</li><li>Strong follow-through; you don't wait to be reminded</li><li>Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks without losing track</li><li>Comfortable speaking with families, POAs, and facility staff</li><li>Tech-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly (Google Workspace, CRM tools, dental software)</li><li>A person who naturally keeps things tidy, clear, and efficient</li><li>Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently</li><li>A genuine interest in senior care and preventative oral health</li></ul><p>Hours & Compensation</p><ul><li>Part-time: 15-25 hours/week</li><li>$28-$32/hour</li><li>Opportunity to grow with the business and take on expanded responsibility</li><li>Flexible schedule with some remote administrative hours</li></ul><p>Why Join Danton Smiles?</p><ul><li>You'll be part of a compassionate, patient-centered dental team</li><li>You'll have meaningful impact on seniors' health and comfort</li><li>You'll help build and streamline systems for a growing mobile practice</li><li>You'll work in a supportive, empowering environment where your strengths matter</li></ul><p>Job Type: Part-time</p><p>Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour</p><p>Expected hours: 14 – 25 per week</p><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Dental receptionist: 5 years (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hamilton, ON</p>Create Your Resume First
