We are looking for a determined, high energy, well organized Dental Ceramist to join our dental lab in Hamilton, Ontario.</p><p><b><strong>*Qualified candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of $1000 CAD, after 120 days of continuous employment.*</strong></b></p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Our Company has the following to offer:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Excellent compensation plan with benefits including medical, dental, vacation and holidays</li><li>Flexible working hours</li><li>Career advancement opportunities</li><li>Investments in the latest technology</li><li>Exclusively focused in cosmetic, implant and digital design for fixed prosthodontics</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Responsible for producing the esthetics that our customers have come to expect</li><li>Responsible for facial cutback layering of porcelain, contouring, and glazing of high end anterior and posterior zirconia and e.max restorations</li><li>Proficiency in full contour crown and bridge contouring and stain and glaze</li><li>Ability to produce artistic, esthetic, and consistent, high-quality porcelain and staining work</li><li>Ability to do final quality inspection of crown and bridge cases with efficiency</li><li>Ability to match and create custom shades and meet tight deadlines</li><li>Operate a variety of dental laboratory tools and equipment</li><li>Maintain clean equipment and work area</li><li>All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Qualifications:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of dental lab products, materials, terminology, and techniques preferred</li><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in porcelain layering, contouring, and finishing of ceramic restorations</li><li>High level of attention to detail with exceptional quality standards</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Excellent hand/eye coordination</li><li>Ability to utilize magnification goggles for extended periods of time</li><li>Team player is a must with willingness to learn new responsibilities</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent required</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><i><em>MicroDental Laboratories and Modern Dental Laboratory USA are proud to be an Equal <span >Opportunity/Affirmative</span> Action employer.
