<p>Hallmark is a Halifax based dental lab serving dental clinics and their patients in Atlantic Canada. We are looking to hire a skilled and creative dental lab denture technician to join our growing lab. Your duties will include setting teeth and processing complete dentures, partial dentures and implant supported dentures. Our ideal candidate is someone with previous experience in high-end esthetic cases and implant supported cases. </p><p>To ensure success in this position, you should have extensive knowledge of all dental technologies and use your expertise while creating a safe and pleasing environment and high-quality products and services. We require a candidate with strong communication skills as you will work closely with our dentists and clinics in a co-treatment relationship. </p><p>Dental Lab Denture Technician Duties & Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Set teeth for complete and partial dentures</li><li>Gingiva esthetic wax up (festooning)</li><li>Gingival cutback and pour on milled PMMA arches</li><li>Trim and polish dentures</li><li>Trim and polish denture products (custom trays, guides etc.)</li><li>Assemble digital dentures</li><li>Custom shades for denture products</li><li>Sandblast and Bond repairs</li><li>Denture processing (Pack, Ivobase, Pour, etc.)</li><li>Communicate with support for denture hardware</li><li>Work chairside with dentists to convert denture cases to implants and implant supported cases</li><li>Keeping up to date with new dental technologies and advancements in the field</li></ul><p>Dental Lab Denture Technician Requirements:</p><ul><li>Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines</li><li>Excellent attention to detail</li><li>Technical knowledge of dental procedures and equipment</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of dental implants and implant supported cases</li><li>Minimum of five years denture experience</li><li>Excellent communication skills are essential for working with dentists and clinics</li><li>Written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><p>Hallmark has been in the community over 40 years.
