Director of Operations – Drayage (Eastern Canada)

Logistics Talent Agency is recruiting a Director of Operations – Drayage for a leading asset based transportation company with a dominant drayage operation across Eastern Canada. This is a high impact leadership role with full ownership of drayage performance from Montreal through Atlantic Canada, including Nova Scotia. You will lead operations, influence commercial outcomes, and sit at the center of a complex, fast moving port and container environment.

What you will own
• End-to-end drayage operations across Eastern Canada
• Fleet utilization, dispatch, driver performance, and chassis management
• Port operations, container flow, dwell time, and service levels
• Leadership and development of regional operations teams
• Operational support to key accounts and select sales initiatives
What we are looking for
• Proven leadership experience in asset based drayage operations
• Deep understanding of port drayage, congestion, and compliance realities
• Experience managing multi-terminal or regional operations
• Strong operational mindset with commercial awareness
Compensation & Benefits
• $120,000 base salary
• 20% annual bonus
