<p>Overview<br/>Director, Supply Chain role at L3Harris Technologies. This position is located in Waterdown, Ontario. Reference #29386.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><p>Directs and coordinates the day-to-day and long-term strategic activities of the Supply Chain, including Inventory and Logistics, Procurement and Sub-Contract Management functions.</p><p>Evaluates internal performance for all aspects of supply chain and drives continuous improvement of supply system operations.</p><p>Develops and implements supply chain systems, policies and procedures that drive a rigorous supplier selection process, supplier development and performance, and timely supplier evaluation and feedback.</p><p>Develops and manages all Key Performance Indicators related to supply chain, logistics and sub-contract management performance.</p><p>Establishes and manages a multi-site supply chain organization producing synergies of personnel and processes to optimize the organization.</p><p>Develops and implements strategies to leverage optimum prices, including sourcing strategies to low-cost or offset countries, considering tariff implications and risk mitigations.</p><p>Identifies and recommends key new suppliers and ensures support teams perform new supplier technical evaluations and ongoing supplier audits.</p><p>Partners with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales and Marketing and Program Management to drive continuous improvement for on-time, complete, and compliant deliveries to customers.</p><p>Ensures supply partners are aligned with technical and commercial requirements by working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production.</p><p>Manages inventory levels, lead times, and risk mitigation to support customer orders.</p><p>Analyzes material cost trends and coordinates policies to maintain appropriate margins.</p><p>Evaluates market conditions, geopolitical factors, and delivery systems to determine material availability and mitigate risks.</p><p>Promotes consistency in managing subcontracts across functions and defines expectations across procurement and program management.</p><p>Participates in or leads subcontract management strategy development and implementation.</p><p>Establishes and maintains effective subcontract management leadership, systems, methods and procedures throughout the contract lifecycle.</p><p>Prepares reports on supplier performance and costs, including metrics for program and/or commodity progress, productivity, and variance analysis.</p><p>Facilitates role clarity and sets performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and address shortfalls.</p><p>Actively participates as a member of Sector Leadership and Supply Chain Functional Leadership teams to develop and execute strategic plans.</p><p>Skills</p><p>Strong critical and strategic thinking skills</p><p>Ability to plan strategically and tactically</p><p>Excellent communication skills</p><p>Knowledge of subcontract best practices and negotiation techniques</p><p>Exposure to the aerospace industry and/or manufacturing to meet defense standards</p><p>Participative and engaged management style</p><p>Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships and resolve conflicts</p><p>Experience in fast-moving, high-growth environments and acting as a change agent</p><p>Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks, monitor progress, and meet deadlines</p><p>Experience & Education</p><p>Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field</p><p>Institute for Supply Management Certification (C.P.M, C.P.S.M) preferred</p><p>Ten or more years of progressive responsibility in supply chain management in aerospace</p><p>Proven track record in complex global supply services</p><p>Leadership in attracting and developing talent and leading cross-functional teams</p><p>Experience in contract development, negotiation and implementation with large multi-national suppliers</p><p>Experience using metrics to drive performance</p><p>At L3Harris, we foster an inclusive and equitable workplace.
