Job Description
Menno Home is currently recruiting physicians to oversee the medical services for the Personal Care Home. The Designated Physician(s) will be responsible for:
- Supervision of residents' medical care
- Examination of residents as required by their condition
- Collaborating with nursing staff and providing 24/7 on-call medical consultation
- Adhering to policies outlined in the Physician Services in Personal Care Homes document
Qualifications
- Eligibility for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
- Membership or eligibility for membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association
- Criminal record and adult abuse checks
- Ability to meet job demands
- English language proficiency
- Willingness to respect the home's faith-based mission, vision, and values
Compensation
Remuneration is based on an Independent Contract practice as per Doctors Manitoba Agreement. Benefits are not included but can be purchased if desired.
