Full-time, permanent position, working 75 hours bi-weekly
$105,896.79 – $141,195.74

Eligibility
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Corporate Finance, or similar degree.
Designated Chartered Professional Accountant is a strong preference
Exceptional knowledge of financial management, budgeting practices, as well as acceptable accounting principles and practices
Strong knowledge of contracting and purchasing methods and techniques
Experience utilizing various finance and administration information management systems and/or software
General knowledge of the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Act, as well as Yukon First Nations and First Nations Agreements, is required
Experience working in a First Nation government is considered an asset

The works from the Head Office, located in Whitehorse, Yukon.
Relocation incentives may be available.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Finance & Administration Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of a full range of financial and administrative services for the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board (YESAB). Further, this position is responsible for:
The development and oversight of YESAB’s financial budget, policies, and procedures
Providing financial analysis, insights, and guidance to support decision-making on key strategic initiatives, investments, and resource allocation, with a goal of improving financial efficiency and profitability
Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks through effective risk management strategies and internal controls.
Leading the Finance and Administration Unit, which includes supervision and coordination of tasks and schedules.
