Title:<BR>Framer-carpenter<BR><BR>Job Types<BR>Regular job<BR><BR>Terms of Employment:<BR>Full Time, Permanent<BR><BR>Salary:<BR>$37.00 Hourly, for 30 to 35 Hours per week<BR><BR>Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months):<BR>As soon as possible<BR><BR>Location:<BR>A Ave<BR>Surrey, BC<BR>V3Z 1A7<BR><BR>(2 vacancies)<BR><BR>Overview<BR><BR>Languages<BR>English<BR><BR>Education<BR>Secondary (high) school graduation certificate<BR><BR>Experience<BR>2 years to less than 3 years<BR><BR>Work setting<BR>Various locations<BR><BR>Responsibilities<BR><BR>Tasks<BR>Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials<BR>Estimate costs and materials<BR>Assembling wood frames for furniture components.<BR>Positioning precutting frame parts, like sides, ends, and braces in fixture, and glue, staple, and screw them together to fabricate furniture frame, using hand tools, hand stapler, and glue applicator.<BR>Webbing and attaching spring hinges to the frames and stapling cardboard on different parts of the frames.<BR>Operating a variety of hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, hammers, nail guns, and levels, to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.<BR>Inspecting the work for accuracy, alignment, and quality.
