Job Description
We're currently looking for consultants involved in Plant Floor leadership to support the implementation of a D365 go-live and hypercare. Expected start date of the 1st of March. Prior D365 knowledge is helpful but not a prerequisite, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities are mainly shop floor / production support during and after D365 go-live. Some warehouse support, but client expects to cover most warehouse activity.
Onboarding/Training Timelines:
- March 1st - D365 training, onboarding, process familiarization, and remote support
- Late March (during final UAT week) - Short plant visit(s) - Tour the plant(s), Meet key stakeholders, Observe workflows on the shop floor
- Weekend April 3–5 (prior to go-live) - Travel onsite
Go-Live & Hypercare:
- April 6 – Go-live at both plants; onsite.
- First 2 weeks after go-live (approx. April 6–18): All-hands, heavy onsite coverage Expect 60–70 hours/week, long shifts to cover 24x6 production.
- Consultants remain onsite (no weekend travel home expected).
Weeks 3–8 of hypercare (through late May):
- Shift to rotation model:
- Hypercare Commitment: 8 weeks total (April–May).
- Onsite hypercare primarily in April, then Full-time remote support in May, if go-live and adoption are going well.
