Job Description
SeekersGuidance is looking for experienced remote fundraisers to actively raise funds for our global mission.
This role is for people who know how to open doors, build trust, and close donations. You will focus entirely on fundraising through relationships, conversations, and direct engagement with donors. Your success will be measured by funds raised and long-term donor commitments.
This is a performance-driven role with a base salary plus commission structure tied directly to results.
What You’ll Do
1. Actively Raise Funds
Identify, approach, and secure donations from individuals, families, and philanthropic contacts
Conduct one-on-one fundraising conversations with potential donors
Close gifts across recurring donations, one-time contributions, and major giving
2. Leverage Your Network
Activate your personal and professional network to generate fundraising opportunities
Build new donor relationships through referrals, introductions, and community connections
Maintain long-term relationships with donors you bring in
3. Represent the Mission
Confidently present SeekersGuidance’s mission, impact, and funding needs in conversations
Attend donor meetings, private gatherings, and fundraising dinners when required
Serve as a trusted representative of the organization in fundraising contexts
4. Track & Deliver Results
Maintain clear records of donor interactions and commitments
Provide simple progress updates on funds raised and pipeline status
Consistently meet or exceed agreed fundraising targets
Key Performance Indicators (How You Win)
Funds Raised: Monthly and quarterly fundraising targets met or exceeded
Donor Acquisition: New donors brought into the organization through your efforts
Gift Size: Growth in average donation size and recurring commitments
Conversion: High close rate from conversations to confirmed donations
Retention: Donors you bring in continue giving beyond initial contributions
Who You Are
A Proven Fundraiser or Sales Professional: Experience in fundraising, sales, or relationship-based revenue roles
Well-Networked: Access to individuals, families, or institutions capable of donating
Comfortable Asking: Confident making direct financial asks
Results-Oriented: Motivated by targets, commissions, and measurable outcomes
Trustworthy & Professional: Handle donor relationships with integrity and discretion
Mission-Aligned: Believe in the importance of Islamic education and service to the Umma
Arabic is a plus, not a requirement.
Compensation Structure
Base Salary (fixed)
Performance-Based Commission (percentage of funds raised)
