Brochet School is a Nursery to Grade 9 school with approximately 135 students.

Brochet is a picturesque and peaceful community located on the northeastern shore of Reindeer Lake. Access is via daily scheduled flights from Thompson, MB and by winter road.

The community has a population of approximately 600 people with community services such as a Northern Store, nursing station, community hall/youth centre, baseball diamond and outdoor skating rink. Qualifications: Bachelor of Education Degree Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for) A sound knowledge of provincial Early Years curricula Previous Early Years teaching experience Strong classroom management skills Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life Experience working in a northern community Experience working with students with unique needs A commitment to differentiated instruction A willingness to inquire into best practices and reflect on practices A team player committed to the belief that all students can learn Self-motivated Applicants are required to submit the following: cover letter current resume list of three professional references including email addresses and contact numbers, all of whom must have knowledge of the applicant’s performance in the applicant’s current or recent assignment Thank you for your interest; however, only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
