<p><b>Overview:</b> Reporting to the Grocery Department Head (or his/her delegates), this position is responsible for preparing various grocery products in advance for customers to choose from. The position also requires providing good customer service to customers by fulfilling their requests, maintaining inventory and ensuring workplace cleanliness.</p>
<p>Founded in 1993, T&T Supermarket Inc. has expanded to 36 stores across Canada, with plans for further growth.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Assist customers in selecting grocery products and provide recommendations as required</li>
<li>Maintain inventory and product quality; ensure full display of various grocery products</li>
<li>Unpack and label grocery products and display them in the sales area</li>
<li>Maintain workplace cleanliness, and ensure that relevant work tools are clean and well-kept</li>
<li>Keep warehouse, display and walk‑in coolers clean and tidy</li>
<li>Follow procedures to process expired products and manage shrinkage</li>
<li>Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor</li>
<li>Accountable, pleasant and able to take initiative</li>
<li>Friendly and have a passion for serving our customers</li>
<li>Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evening hours and statutory holidays</li>
<li>Able to use work‑related tools safely</li>
<li>Able to stand for long periods and handle products hands‑on, including lifting products of up to 40 pounds on a regular basis</li>
<li>A good team player</li>
<li>Not allergic to handling grocery products; knowledge of basic work safety</li>
<li>Relevant experience in handling grocery products is preferred</li>
</ul>
