Prior experience in hair styling and retail sales is preferred, along with strong communication skills to ensure client satisfaction.</p><p>Duties</p><ul><li>Provide a variety of hair services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.</li><li>Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety.</li><li>Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or products.</li><li>Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client experience and salon revenue.</li><li>Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and personalized care.</li><li>Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon industry standards through ongoing education.</li></ul><p>Skills</p><ul><li>Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.</li><li>Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.</li><li>Ability to upsell products and services confidently without being pushy.</li><li>Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and team members alike.</li><li>Experience in retail sales within a salon setting is a plus.</li><li>Front desk experience is desirable for managing appointments and client inquiries efficiently.
