As a leading dealership, we specialize in Bobcat, Develon Heavy Equipment, Bobcat forklifts, Precision Trailers, and Grasshopper products. Our robust sales and service teams, coupled with a comprehensive parts inventory, ensure exceptional support for our valued customersWe are currently looking for a full-time Heavy Equipment Technician (Preferably 3rd-4th year apprentice or Journeyman) to join our Service team.As the Heavy Equipment Technician, you are responsible for:Troubleshooting and completing diagnostic repairs Completing the installation of new and added on equipment Cleaning, lubricating, and other maintenance work Ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies Maintaining a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques Traveling to customer locations to diagnose, service, and repair equipment You have the following skills and education:Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician, or a registered 3rd or 4th year HET apprentice with your own tools Class 5 drivers’ licence with a clean abstract and the ability to go on service calls when required Experience working on bobcats, loaders, generators, man-lifts, etc. Knowledge of power, electrical, and hydraulic systems Ability to be flexible and to work well under pressure You are able to work in the following conditions:40 hours a week plus on-call and overtime when required Working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, both at our shop and at customer locations Lifting up to 50lbs.
