Ingenium Developer
Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Ingenium Developer to support the design, development, configuration, and enhancement of insurance policy administration systems using Ingenium (OpenText / CSC). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical expertise and experience working within the insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and customize solutions using Ingenium
- Work on policy lifecycle components including new business, endorsements, renewals, and claims (if applicable)
- Perform system integration with third-party and internal applications
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Support testing, deployment, and production issues
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Ingenium (OpenText / CSC)
- Experience in insurance policy administration systems
- Proficiency in configuration, customization, and batch processing
- Knowledge of system integrations and data flows
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- COBOL
- DB2
- Java Script
- JCL (Mainframe Job Control Language)
Nice to Have
- Experience with life, annuity, or P&C insurance systems
- Prior experience in large enterprise or transformation projects
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
