Description

Looking for IT PM related to Planning and Development Services. The PM would work on multiple agile teams. Experience with SAFe methodology would be preferred. Most of the projects are Application related and Infrastructure/system related.

• One of the largest systems used is POSSE, created by Computronix (external vendor).


• Most applications are built in-house and connected to POSSE for Back-end.

Top Skills Details

• Five (5) years' IT project management experience (the majority of this experience should have been practiced in accordance with the generally recognized good practices identified in PMI's PMBOK® Guide, in recent years).


• Of this experience, at least three (3) of the years should have been on medium to large technology projects, as defined by both size and complexity (size of projects may be defined in terms of budget, staff involvement, organizational impact, risk profile, complexity/number of stakeholders, and size of organization).


• Three (3) years' experience leading and supporting multidisciplinary project teams consisting of internal staff from IT and clients, contractors, and vendors.


• Three (3) years' experience with project resource planning, including participation in project team resourcing.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and manage complex relationships with groups/individuals with varying perspectives, interest and roles.


• Strong leadership, planning and analytic skills.


• Well-developed facilitation and mediation skills including ability to work with a diverse audience and reach a consensus on critical project decisions.


• The ability to undertake multiple projects, manage competing demands, prioritize and adjust resources.


• Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations.


• Formal training and /or certification in project management (e.g., PMI Project Management Professional) is an asset.

Job Type & Location

Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
