Job Summary
Journeyman - Foreman Plumber(s) required immediately for project, installation and commercial mechanical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Read blueprints, determine layouts of plumbing fixtures, water supplies, vent and drainage systems, repair and maintain domestic hot and cold-water systems, install commercial & residential plumbing fixtures.
- Installation of various types of mechanical equipment and associated piping.
- Hydronic retro fits I.e. boilers, pumps,
- Chiller retro fits
- Heat pump re & re's
- Air handler installs
- Install NG (natural gas) distribution piping and size as per code.
- Safe work practices, provide a high level of customer service.
Qualifications
- Have an active gas ticket, B ticket minimum
- Steam or Plumbing ticket
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Foreman
- Understanding of Mechanical Installation and local codes.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
- Running prime contractor projects
- Working with multiple sub trades
- Working with multiple Journeyman and Apprentice
- Working with owners and consultants
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials, tools and equipment when required.
Pay range: $18 to $52 per hour
