<b>Legal Assistant – Corporate Law</b><b><br></b><br>
Take part in large-scale commercial matters within a leading law firm based in Montréal. This bilingual business law position offers a strategic role, access to cutting-edge digital tools, and a collaborative, dynamic work environment.<br>

<b>Responsibilities:<br></b>
<br>
<br>• Draft, revise, and proofread correspondence and legal documents.<br>
<br>• Manage deadlines, calendars, and lawyers' travel arrangements.<br>
<br>• Organize and file records using digital platforms such as NetDocuments, Closing Folders, and Sharefile.<br>
<br>• Communicate effectively with clients, external parties, and internal departments.<br>
<br>• Handle file openings, time entries, and expense management.<br>
<br>• Support the billing process alongside dedicated specialists.<br>
<br>• Transcribe dictations, audio notes, and recordings.<br>
<br>• Perform document comparisons (markups).<br>
<br>• Support the onboarding of new hires.<br>
<br>• Carry out any other administrative tasks related to the role.<br>
<br>
<b>What you will need to succeed:<br></b>
<br>
<br>• Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in Legal Secretarial Studies or Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Office Technology.<br>
<br>• A diploma in Paralegal Technology is an asset.<br>
<br>• 2+ years of experience in a professional firm.<br>
<br>• Bilingual in English and French to support clients in both languages.<br>
<br>• Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite.<br>
<br>• Experience in audio transcription; knowledge of BigHand is an asset.<br>
<br>• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and team spirit.<br>
<br>• Independence, proactivity, and the ability to manage priorities.<br>
<br>• Discretion, professional judgment, and work diligence.<br>
