This role is a combination of legal administrative support and paralegal duties.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Conduct client intake, open files, and keep files up-to-date and organized.</li><li>Schedule client meetings, manage Lawyer's calendar, and coordinate all related documentation and logistics.</li><li>Draft and prepare pleadings, litigation disclosure, and other court documents.</li><li>Manage all incoming and outgoing communications, including mail, faxes, and basic inquiries from clients, lawyers, adjusters, etc.</li><li>Transcribe dictations, prepare and file court documents, correspondence, and other legal paperwork.</li><li>Request, organize, and manage necessary documentation, such as discovery, undertakings, medical records, etc.</li><li>Review, analyze, and flag relevant information in file documents for Lawyer review.</li><li>Assist Lawyer with contacting and interviewing witnesses.</li><li>Monitor and track all civil procedure deadlines.</li><li>Update clients on case status.</li><li>Handle billing and invoicing.</li><li>Process file settlements and close files.</li><li>Assist other Personal Injury team members as needed.</li></ul><p>What You Bring</p><ul><li>Experience: Graduate of a Legal Assistant or Paralegal program with 1-2 years of experience.
