<p>Our client, a leading organization in transportation and logistics, is seeking a Transportation Operation Specialist to join their team. As a Transportation Operation Specialist, you will be part of the transportation operations department supporting network stability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.</p>

<p><strong>Location: </strong>Etobicoke, ON</p>

<p><strong>Pay Range: </strong>$28.65/hour</p>

<p><strong>Shift: 7am to 3pm (Rotating)</strong></p>

<p><strong>What's the Job?</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Monitor and analyze transportation network performance to identify discrepancies or delays.
<li>Communicate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and carriers to ensure accurate updates and coordination.
<li>Manage operational or mechanical issues by facilitating recovery plans and coordinating with vendors and local teams.
<li>Create, track, and resolve incidents using case management tools, ensuring timely resolution.
<li>Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and performance gaps.
</ul>

<p><strong>What's Needed?</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>College diploma or degree in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent experience).
<li>4+ years of experience in transportation or logistics operations, preferably within a control tower or dispatching environment.
<li>Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and recommend process improvements.
<li>Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
<li>Experience with case management systems, reporting tools, and data tracking is an asset.
</ul>
