If you are an achiever who is relentless in ensuring that we achieve business results and create a great company culture while doing it, then we’re looking for you!</p><p><strong>Scope:</strong></p><p>The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the movement of freight across U.S.–Canada borders to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery. This role supports daily transportation operations within a distribution network, managing carrier relationships, shipment documentation, and customs compliance while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and service.</p><p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate and schedule daily cross-border shipments (LTL, TL, and parcel) between the U.S. and Canada, as well as some moves between the U.S. and Mexico</li><li>Prepare and validate all necessary shipping and customs documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading (BOLs), 7512 entries, and other related records</li><li>Communicate with carriers, customs brokers, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth border clearance and on-time delivery</li><li>Track and trace shipments, proactively resolve any transit or customs delays, and update stakeholders on shipment status</li><li>Maintain compliance with CBSA and CBP regulations, ensuring all documentation aligns with import and export requirements</li><li>Support freight cost management by reviewing carrier invoices, auditing freight bills, and reporting variances</li><li>Assist with carrier performance reviews, KPI tracking, and service-level evaluations</li><li>Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance) to ensure shipping accuracy and operational efficiency</li><li>Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities in cross-border and domestic logistics</li><li>Support the implementation of TMS or ERP transportation modules, ensuring data integrity and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Skills & Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>College diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in logistics or transportation coordination (cross-border experience preferred)</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft applications</li><li>Familiarity with customs clearance processes, HS codes, and documentation standards</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li><li>Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform under time-sensitive conditions</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a service-oriented approach</li><li>Ability to work well independently and as part of a team</li><li>Knowledge of Incoterms and import/export regulations is considered an asset</li><li>Certification through CITT, CIFFA, or CSCMP is considered an asset</li></ul><p>The successful candidate will receive a conditional offer, contingent upon the successful completion of a background check conducted by our contracted third-party vendor.
