FULL-TIME - MAINTENANCE POSITION  (40 hrs)
 
STOKES Janitorial & Maintenance is looking for Full-Time Maintenance for the Burlington and area.
 
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance & Repair Worker to perform & upkeep tasks, minor repairs, and building maintenance. You must be reliable, can work independently, and own a vehicle.


Job Description:
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Basic repairs throughout Co-op.
  • Overseeing & greeting contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and contacting the appropriate trade to have them corrected.
  • Performing minor fixes throughout buildings.
  • Checking control panels (no electrical necessary). 
  • Check functionality & maintenance of safety systems.
  • Report to facility managers any maintenance issues needing professional repairs.

 
Requirements:
  • Experience in maintenance & repair areas.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and building automation systems.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read technical manuals.
  • Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A vehicle is a must.
