The Maintenance Manager will be required to thrive in a unionized environment.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong> </p><ul><li>Lead and enforce safety and food safety standards in the maintenance department</li><li>Ensure staff are trained, motivated, and equipped to perform tasks safely and efficiently.</li><li>Oversee hiring, performance reviews, and succession planning for key roles.</li><li>Develop and manage long-term strategic plans and KPIs aligned with site and corporate goals.</li><li>Manage asset life cycles, budget planning, and recommend equipment upgrades.</li><li>Supervise maintenance processes, implement preventative programs, and track key metrics.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulations and foster strong relationships with vendors.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement and stay informed about technological advancements.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Requirements </strong> </p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in a Supervisory role.</li><li>Previous union experience leading a large team of employees from different backgrounds and years of experience.</li><li>Trades background or mechanical engineering degree.</li><li>Predictive and preventative maintenance knowledge on packaging equipment, compressors, power transmitters, conveyor belt systems, hydraulic components, PLCs, automated equipment, fillers, electro-mechanical, and centrifugal pumps.</li><li>Experience with SAP and other systems is a strong asset</li><li>Mechanically inclined and strong equipment diagnosis.</li><li>A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.</li><li>Strong people-first mentality, having constant collaboration with the team.</li><li>Commitment to health and safety standards and protocols.</li><li>Strategic mindset to push the team forward and the overall plant performance.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Compensation</strong> </p><ul><li>$125,000 to $145,000.</li><li>Relocation reimbursement coverage of up to a specific amount is available.</li><li>Strong pension plan.</li><li>Health benefits paid by the employer are available upon the start date.</li><li>4-weeks vacation.</li><li>Performance-based quarterly bonus available.</li><li>Double contribution matching.</li><li>Collaborative and stable work environment.</li><li>Employee and family assistance program.</li><li>Product discounts.</li><li>Opportunity for growth and relocation to different branches.</li><li>Stable employer and leader in the industry.</li><li>Paid <span >maternity/paternity</span> leave</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>#INDSTRIVE3</strong> </p><p><strong>#LI-SR</strong></p><p><br /></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
