On occasion, we also use AI-assisted tools to help review applications.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>THE ROLE</strong></p><p>On behalf of our client, we are looking for a<strong> MAINTENANCE TECH</strong> for a small manufacturing company located in <strong>HAMILTON&#39;s east end</strong>.</p><p> </p><p><strong>PERKS:</strong></p><ul><li>Great role with starting pay of $30-$32/hr</li><li>Shift: 7 am- 3:30 pm (Monday to Friday)</li><li>Small International Company with a great culture</li><li>Fantastic location in the north end of Hamilton</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on machinery, the building and the equipment</li><li>Using a Lathe to make parts</li><li>Perform welding, grinding, machining, and fabrication as required.</li><li>Determine necessary changes, adjustments, and modifications to obtain desired results from machinery, using OEM specifications, blueprints, sketches, and manuals.</li><li>Ensure plant and equipment is in good order by regular inspection and site audit.</li><li>Working collaboratively with the production team to resolve machine issues.</li><li>Welding MIG and TIG</li><li>Investigate cost effective solutions to plant and machine problems.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li>5 years of maintenance experience working on machinery</li><li>Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, materials, tooling, presses, boilers, controls etc</li><li>Experience with overall building maintenance</li><li>Experience with boilers is nice to have</li><li>Trades accreditation is an asset, or equivalent work experience.</li><li>Drivers License needed</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>#INDSTRIVEON</strong></p><p><strong>#LI-SR</strong></p><p><br /></p></p></p>
