Our client, a small accounting firm in North York, is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team on a contract basis. There is a strong chance for this role to potentially convert to a full-time role for the right person. If you enjoy client relations, reviewing files and managing staff let us know.

Base pay range

CA$55.00/hr - CA$65.00/hr

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Building strong relationships and delivering on client needs


• Review work of staff (both on-shore and off-shore)


• Assisting clients with evaluating requirements of accounting standards and analyzing frameworks

Education and Professional Skills

• CPA designation with at least five years experience in a public accounting firm


• Advanced understanding of accounting policies and audit techniques re: ASPE compliance


• Advanced skills in Caseware/Caseview, Excel, Word and Taxprep


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Must have experience in preparing personal tax returns
