Manager Tax - Planning and Compliance

<p><h3>About the Opportunity</h3><p>Manage the entire tax function of the firm including:</p><ul><li>Compliance, improving the overall tax filing process</li><li>Keep abreast with tax research</li><li>Review all tax returns ensuring quality control</li><li>Oversee all correspondence with CRA</li><li>Participate on tax research and tax planning engagements</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><ul><li>Completed an undergraduate degree and CPA or CPA, CA or</li><li>Currently a Tax Manager with 3-5+ years of experience within a Public Accounting tax environment, ideally the tax department of a major accounting firm with no preference on industry</li><li>Completion of CPA In-depth tax course or graduated from the MTax program</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Canadian tax laws and IFRS tax accounting and reporting</li><li>Experience in preparing and reviewing complex tax provisions and Canadian corporate tax returns</li><li>Experience with tax compliance, filings and Quality Control</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines</li><li>Team oriented, collaborative working style</li></ul><h3>Salary</h3><p>$100,000/year</p><h3>How to Apply</h3><p>Click the "Apply Now" button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
