Job Description

Position: Dietary Aide

Type: Part-time

Shouldice Hospital in Thornhill, the leader in hernia repairs, is looking for a part-time permanent Dietary Aide to provide patient-centred care with exceptional customer service.

Position Purpose

This part-time position is responsible for daily assigned tasks within the Dietary Department. This position is days and weekends.

Responsibilities

路 Serving patient dinners and snack

路 Setting and resetting tables

路 Maintaining a clean and safe environment following Public Health standards

路 Customer service

路 Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

路 Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

路 Ability to be on your feet for up to 4 hours at a time

路 Ability to work flexible hours

路 Knowledge of chemicals

路 Knowledge of WHMIS

路 Knowledge of Public Health standards

路 Strong command of the English language

路 Customer service, as well as patient-centred experience

  • Current Food Handling Certificate

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
