Program Manager, Business Continuity and Resilience Management

About the Opportunity

  • Lead the annual BCM/Resilience program lifecycle plan to meet governance and framework deliverables.
  • Manage a business interruption risk register and coordinate with technology teams (e.g., cybersecurity, disaster recovery) to align priorities and track controls and mitigation activities using automated tools.
  • Recommend reporting approaches for dashboard metrics to continually improve and mature the resilience of critical functions during disruption; prepare information for working groups, steering committees, senior management and the Board.
  • Design, develop and deliver training sessions for staff and management on roles and responsibilities during disruption.
  • Manage and track corrective actions and program reporting for BCM material using automated tools (dashboards, metrics) to support management decision-making.
  • Influence and drive owner relationships to foster trust and advise on BCM/Integrated Resilience best practices through working groups and one-on-one sessions.
  • Partner with business owners to document cross-functional risk areas and dependencies addressed (e.g., location/infrastructure, assets/equipment, technology, vendors, workforce and data risk).

About You

  • University and/or College degree in a related field such as business continuity, disaster recovery, or project management.
  • Possess or pursuing relevant industry certifications in Business Continuity (CBCP/M), Enterprise Risk Management (CRM/PRMIA) or Project Management (PMP).
  • 4 years of relevant experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.

Salary Range

$86,000 - $110,000/year
