As a PSW Team Lead, youll split your time between providing care and mentoring your fellow caregivers. Youll play a key role in ensuring the quality, consistency, and compassion of care delivered to our clients across Mississauga.</p><p> What We Offer:</p><ul><li>Nurse Next Door People Promise: Youll love coming to work</li><li>Flexible scheduling</li><li>Health Spending Account (after 3-month probation)</li><li>Paid mileage between clients</li><li>Leadership development & mentorship opportunities</li><li>Paid onboarding, shadow shifts, and training</li><li>Opportunity to grow your caregiving career into leadership</li><li>24/7 live support from management</li><li>Regular coaching and leadership check-ins</li><li>Youre never alone weve got your back</li></ul><p> Responsibilities & Duties:</p><p>Leadership (40% of time):</p><ul><li>Support onboarding and shadowing for new Caregivers</li><li>Conduct in-home First Visits to ensure quality standards</li><li>Mentor caregivers in the field and provide on-the-spot coaching</li><li>Act as a go-to resource for PSW peers</li><li>Help monitor and maintain care quality, safety and consistency</li><li>Provide feedback to the office team on scheduling, client fit, and training needs</li><li>Collaborate with the Care Designer and Scheduler on urgent and complex care requests</li></ul><p>Caregiving (60% of time):</p><ul><li>Assist clients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) including personal care</li><li>Provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, mobility support</li><li>Execute the Care Plan as outlined by the Care Designer</li><li>Document care activities and observations accurately</li><li>Always prioritize safety, dignity, and a positive client experience</li></ul><p> Requirements:</p><ul><li>5+ years of Canadian caregiving experience</li><li>Fluent in English (written and verbal)</li><li>Valid G-class drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle</li><li>Willing to travel across Mississauga</li><li>Available for a minimum of 15 hours per week including weekends or evenings</li><li>Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector</li><li>Up-to-date TB test</li><li>Minimum of 2 COVID-19 vaccinations</li></ul><p> Bonus if you:</p><ul><li>Have prior mentoring, coaching, or leadership experience</li><li>Are passionate about continuous improvement and learning</li><li>Have strong communication and conflict-resolution skills</li><li>Are excited by the idea of making lives better for both clients and fellow Caregivers</li></ul><p> Heres to Making Lives Better!</p><p>At Nurse Next Door, we admire people.
