We tell stories that inspire people to pack their bags and represent destinations and hospitality brands that want to be seen, heard, and remembered.</p><p>We’re looking for a Public Relations Account Manager who thrives on creativity, strategy, and connection to join our team based in our Toronto head office.</p><p>Your Role at VoX: As a key member of our PR team, you’ll work hand-in-hand with Account Managers to bring bold ideas to life. From pitching editors and content creators to orchestrating unforgettable press trips, you’ll shape how our clients show up in the Canadian media landscape—across traditional outlets, digital platforms, and social media. If you love crafting compelling narratives, building relationships, and turning travel stories into standout coverage, this role is for you.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Develop and implement integrated PR and communications strategies for assigned client accounts</li><li>Research, write, and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other communications materials</li><li>Proactively pitch story ideas and secure media coverage across consumer, trade, and digital platforms</li><li>Plan and coordinate press trips (individual and group FAMs), live remotes, blogger and influencer events, media marketplaces, and sales missions</li><li>Manage integrated and experiential consumer and media campaigns including activations, promotions, execution oversight, and wrap-up reporting</li><li>Identify and evaluate partnership and sponsorship opportunities</li><li>Manage program budgets and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting</li><li>Monitor, analyze, and report on PR results, including media coverage, ROI reporting, and PR value calculations</li><li>Stay current on client destinations, media landscapes, social media opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activity</li><li>Respond to media and client requests with professionalism and efficiency</li><li>Maintain and customize agency media lists as required</li></ul><h3>Qualifications & Skills</h3><ul><li>Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field</li><li>Minimum five (5) years of effective experience in public relations work</li><li>Strong knowledge of the Canadian travel and tourism industry, including trade and consumer media</li><li>Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills in English (French and/or Spanish an asset)</li><li>Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills</li><li>Strong project management, organization and reporting skills</li><li>Must be able to travel within Canada, United States and Internationally as required</li><li>Advanced proficiency in MS Office</li><li>Experience using PR monitoring and measurement tools</li><li>A passion for travel, storytelling and making an impact</li></ul><h3>How to Apply</h3><p>Please forward your resume along with your salary expectations to <b>vox@voxinternational.com</b>.</p><p>No phone calls, please.</p><p>We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</p></p>
