<p>Position: Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor.<br><br>Date: June </p><p>Education:</p><ul><li>A College Diploma (3 Years) from an accredited institution in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Safety, or related field is required.</li><li>Minimum certifications in Quality Assurance, GFSI, and Internal Auditing.</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>5+ years of relevant experience.</li></ul><p>fast-growing, Vaughan-based food company operating multiple brands across retail, foodservice, and manufacturing throughout the USA and Canada is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team.</p><p>Role Overview:</p><p>This individual will ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality across our operations. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in HACCP, GFSI, BRC, and regulatory ( GFSI/CIFA/USDA/FDA )compliance within the food industry.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Manage and maintain the company's HACCP system, BRC system, SOPs, and quality programs.</li><li>Oversee all incoming material inspections, sample handling, and approvals.</li><li>Conduct internal audits and customer complaint investigations.</li><li>Ensure all microbial testing meets specifications and maintain comprehensive databases.</li><li>Deliver training on Food Safety and Quality Control to QA staff and plant employees.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with CFIA, USDA, FDA, and customer specifications.</li><li>Maintain and update product specifications, labels (Genesis SQL), and supplier documentation.</li><li>Administer organic, gluten-free, and kosher certification programs.</li><li>Conduct and document sanitation and pest control programs.</li><li>Lead mock recalls and maintain preparedness for food safety emergencies.</li><li>Supervise the QA Technician and support FSQA system activities.</li><li>Assist QA Manager in recall, food security, and crisis management situations.</li></ul><p><em>Note:</em> <em>Employee may be required to perform other duties as necessary to support the operational needs of the organization.</em></p>
