Job Summary <br />We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br /> Duties <br /> Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.<br /> Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.<br /> Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.<br /> Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Curve Dental.<br /> Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.<br /> Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties when needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.<br /> Support orthodontic procedures and provide assistance with pediatric patients as necessary.<br /> Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices in dental assisting to enhance patient care.<br /> Experience <br /> Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with familiarity in orthodontics being a plus.<br /> Proficiency in using dental software systems like Curve Dental is highly desirable.<br /> Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential.<br /> Experience working with pediatric patients is an advantage.<br /> CAD experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
