Reporting to the Centre Director, you'll work collaboratively with your team to plan curriculum experiences, maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment, and build meaningful relationships with families and children. You'll be a role model of professionalism and an ambassador for the Childventures philosophy of learning.</p><p>EXCLUSIVE PERKS</p><ul><li>Competitive wages and vacation allowance</li><li>Training & development: paid professional development days</li><li>Opportunities for career advancement</li><li>Fully reimbursed RECE membership dues</li><li>Group Benefits including Health, Dental, AD&D, Life and Health Care Spending Account</li><li>Corporate discount and perks program</li><li>Beautiful, Spacious & Enjoyable Work Environment</li></ul><p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li>Plan and deliver engaging curriculum experiences aligned with Childventures' philosophy and standards</li><li>Customize programming based on observations and children's developmental stages and interests</li><li>Conduct regular observations and maintain accurate documentation and child records</li><li>Establish safe, consistent routines and foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment</li><li>Communicate regularly and professionally with families regarding each child's development</li><li>Support licensing, health, and safety inspections and ensure regulatory compliance</li><li>Collaborate with your Team Mentor and Centre Director to maintain and enhance program quality</li><li>Participate in quality assurance processes, including internal assessments and environmental ratings</li><li>Attend curriculum and professional development sessions to continually grow your practice</li><li>Other duties as assigned to support classroom and centre success</li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p><p>Education & Certification</p><ul><li>Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognized Ontario institution</li><li>Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE)</li></ul><p>Experience</p><ul><li>Experience in a licensed childcare setting is an asset</li></ul><p>Knowledge & Skills</p><ul><li>Familiarity with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and current educational practices</li><li>Passion for early learning and a commitment to quality and safety</li></ul><p>MINISTRY REQUIREMENTS:</p><ul><li>2 Step TB</li><li>Updated Immunizations (Tetanus, MMR)</li><li>Health Assessment (deemed fit for work)</li><li>Vulnerable Sector Check</li><li>Standard First Aid & CPR Level C</li></ul>
