On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Manager, Supplier Risk Management for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Manager, Supplier Risk Management - Job Description:
The Manager, Supplier Risk Management will support Capital Markets' supplier management activities, focusing on low criticality engagements. This role will contribute to the supplier lifecycle process by ensuring supplier performance and coordinating Service Organization Control (SOC) reviews to validate supplier controls and maintain compliance standards.
Manager, Supplier Risk Management - Responsibilities:
• Influence sourcing decisions and drive supplier consolidation
• Support cost savings and cost avoidance efforts
• Conduct ongoing monitoring activities for supplier performance
• Coordinate SOC reviews to validate supplier controls
• Provide expertise in third-party risk assessments and due diligence
• Work with stakeholders to mitigate risks and drive process efficiencies
Manager, Supplier Risk Management - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years at a Canadian Financial Institution (an asset)
• Advanced Microsoft Suite skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Advanced English – written/verbal
Manager, Supplier Risk Management – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Capital Markets knowledge
• Experience with Archer
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Teamwork-oriented
Manager, Supplier Risk Management – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.
