Empire Roofing Corporation is looking for an experienced Roofing Laborerto join our team in Windsor! We are a busy construction/roofing company serving the industrial and commercial sectors. Job Summary
The Roof Helper assists roofing professionals with installation, maintenance, and cleaning tasks. A key part of this role involves using vacuum systems to remove debris, leaves, and buildup from roofs and gutters, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support roofers by transporting tools, materials, and safety equipment
- Set up ladders, scaffolding, and fall protection systems
- Operate roof vacuum systems to clean debris from roof surfaces and gutters
- Remove old roofing materials and assist with site cleanup
- Maintain vacuum equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Dispose of collected debris in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines
- Assist with minor repairs and surface preparation under supervision
- Follow all safety protocols while working at heights and around machinery
Skills & Qualifications
- Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions
- Experience using vacuum systems or willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of roofing tools and cleaning techniques
- Strong physical stamina and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
