<h3>The Role</h3>
<p>We are seeking an accomplished <b>Senior SaaS Platform Architect</b> to shape the future of our cloud-based platform. You will play a pivotal role in designing and guiding the development of scalable, resilient, and secure software systems that power our AI-driven translation solutions. As a senior architect, you will work closely with product leaders, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that technical decisions align with the company’s strategic vision and deliver lasting value.</p>
<p>This role requires a rare mix of deep technical expertise, architectural vision, and the ability to influence and mentor teams across the organization. This position is Fully Remote.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li><b>Architect Scalable Platforms</b> – Design and evolve SaaS and cloud solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and security.</li>
<li><b>Advance the Architecture Roadmap</b> – Partner with engineering, GenAI, and DevOps teams to define and evolve the long-term technical architecture of Alexa Translations’ SaaS offerings.</li>
<li><b>Documentation & Standards</b> – Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, integration diagrams, and technical guidelines; ensure accessibility and currency of all documentation.</li>
<li><b>Innovation & Prototyping</b> – Challenge the status quo by exploring new technologies, creating proofs of concept, and rapidly prototyping solutions to meet emerging business needs.</li>
<li><b>Technical Leadership</b> – Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering teams, raising code quality, design maturity, and product performance.</li>
<li><b>Full Lifecycle Architecture</b> – Design solutions for new features while ensuring maintainability of existing code bases, with a focus on best practices and long-term sustainability.</li>
<li><b>Agile Collaboration</b> – Work closely with Scrum teams and product owners to translate architectural direction into actionable development plans.</li>
<li><b>Cross-Functional Communication</b> – Serve as a bridge between technicaland non-technical stakeholders, articulating architectural decisions in clear, business-relevant terms.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science (or related field).</li>
<li><b>10+ years</b> of software development experience building web-based products at scale.</li>
<li><b>5+ years</b> of experience in cloud architecture, AI Model Infra and deployment, ideally on <b>AWS</b>.</li>
<li>Strong expertise in the Pythonand front-end frameworks such as <b>React</b>.</li>
<li>Proven track record of architecting complex SaaS platforms with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, and security.</li>
<li>Experience and knowledge of SaaS compliance standards including SOC2 , GDPR and ISO270001</li>
<li>Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor teams and influence stakeholders.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; able to balance strategic vision with pragmatic execution.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.</li>
<li>Fluency in English (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues across regions.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Nice to Have</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience in the <b>translation, localization, or language technology industry</b>.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: <b>Prompt tuning, RAG frameworks</b>, <b>Embedding models, LLM APIs, Vector database</b></li>
<li>Familiarity with compliance and security requirements in legal/financial SaaS environments.</li>
