Job Description

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Senior Sales Lead (Precious Metals) for an established Alternative Asset & Bullion Platform in Downtown Toronto.

We are conducting a confidential search for a hands‑on, high‑firepower producer who thrives on client acquisition and real asset sales. This is a 'lead-by-example' seat designed for a professional who enjoys being in front of financially sophisticated and High‑Net‑Worth (HNW) clients. It is not a traditional management desk role; you will carry a personal production goal while spending approximately 15% of your time coaching a small team through your own successful execution. This is a platform for those who feel capped in their current environment and want a direct, uncapped line between effort and earnings.

Job Responsibilities

  • Net New Acquisition: Drive aggressive growth through outbound activity, strategic relationship-building, and the re‑engagement of dormant high‑value accounts.
  • Full‑Cycle Book Management: Own and grow an end‑to‑end book of business, managing the relationship from initial outreach through high‑volume bullion transactions.
  • Team Coaching by Example: Spend ~15% of your time mentoring a small team by demonstrating elite sales techniques, "says-to-yes" conversations, and closing strategies in real‑time.
  • Strategic Networking: Attend industry conferences, HNW events, and face‑to‑face client meetings to represent the firm and capture market demand.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Leadership, Marketing, and Operations to ensure a seamless conversion of inbound demand into realized revenue.
  • Portfolio Consultation: Provide credible, sophisticated financial literacy to HNW and Institutional clients regarding precious metals as a core portfolio asset.

Education & Credibility

  • Strong financial literacy and the ability to maintain credibility with ultra‑high‑net‑worth investors.
  • Relevant financial industry credentials (CSC, CIM, etc.) are helpful, but a proven production mindset is prioritized.

Experience

  • Minimum of four (4) or more years of high‑end sales experience is REQUIRED.
  • Financial markets industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of selling "real assets" or sophisticated financial products.
  • Demonstrated history of operating successfully without "guardrails" or heavy oversight.

Core Attributes

  • Hunger & Resilience: A true self‑starter who still enjoys the "hunt" and carrying a quota.
  • Outbound Mastery: Comfortable with outbound selling and cold‑relationship development.
  • Judgment: High‑level judgment when dealing with institutional‑level capital and complex market cycles.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance plans
  • Life insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions
  • Paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and holidays
  • Opportunities for career growth and advancement
