As a Scheduler, you will work closely with the project team on-site, ensuring accurate planning and execution across multiple phases of work. The role is hands-on and execution-focused, requiring strong technical scheduling expertise and the ability to collaborate with field supervision and project leadership.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead planning and coordination sessions with project teams and stakeholders.</li><li>Develop and maintain detailed schedules for construction activities, including resource loading and management.</li><li>Integrate subcontractor schedules into the master plan and manage scope changes.</li><li>Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule integrity.</li><li>Support site leadership in aligning field activities with overall project timelines.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p><ul><li>10+ years of scheduling experience in construction, ideally with a general contractor on large-scale industrial projects.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in P6—able to build, maintain, and analyze schedules independently.</li><li>Strong Excel skills for reporting, data manipulation, and schedule analysis.</li><li>Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and proposal documents.</li><li>Experience with Time Impact Analysis and schedule delay methodologies.</li><li>Experience through the bid and estimation phase of a project.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Capex project experience in an industrial setting.</li><li>Strong data management skills and proficiency in scheduling tools.</li><li>Exposure to 4D scheduling is a bonus but not required.</li><li>Familiarity with 1M+ man-hour projects is a strong asset.</li><li>Strong communication skills—able to present clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage scope changes and schedule impacts under pressure.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>This full-time, on-site position is located at the Fort Saskatchewan. The position requires 50 regular hours per week plus overtime as needed.
