This position involves providing security and monitoring services 24/7, with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel and assets. The role will have various responsibilities using computers and different software. Strong computer skills is a must. <br /> <br /><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES :</strong><ul><li><strong>Site Surveillance & Patrol:</strong> Perform regular patrols of the site and surrounding areas to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.</li><li><strong>Visibility & Coverage:</strong> Maintain high visibility at the designated posts. Ensure security coverage near sensitive areas within the site.</li><li><strong>Access Control:</strong> Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring that gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.</li><li><strong>Communication:</strong> Maintain clear and constant communication via radio with other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.</li><li><strong>Emergency Response:</strong> Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.</li><li><strong>Incident Documentation:</strong> Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.</li><li><strong>Site & Asset Protection:</strong> Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to site materials and equipment. Ensure all property is secured at all times.</li><li><strong>Compliance with Safety Procedures:</strong> Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on-site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.</li><li><strong>General Security Duties:</strong> Ensure the overall safety and security of the site and surrounding areas by addressing any security risks or safety concerns that arise during the shift.</li></ul> <br /><strong>REQUIREMENTS :</strong><ul><li>Must have strong computer skills</li><li>1-2 years of experience working in a corporate security environment </li><li>Must have a valid<strong> Provincial Security License.</strong></li><li>Must be at least 18 years old or above for insurance purposes</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience</li><li>Must be eligible to work in Canada up to <strong>40 hours a week.</strong></li><li>First Aid and CPR</li></ul> <br /><strong>Benefits:</strong><ul><li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li><li>Paid training and development programs.</li></ul><strong>Disclaimer:</strong><br /> <br />As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
